Free Hugs Day 14th February 1.30 – 3 p. m., Česká street, Brno Valentine's Day is a day to celebrate love and friendship. Let's share hugs full of happiness and love to make this day special and full of joy also for the people not having a Valentine. At the same time, huggers from all over the Europe are about to hug hundred of people elsewhere! Be part of something BIG and start your exchange in Brno! More info at facebook page (same name). Organic Farm 9.-11.3. Goats, sheep, chicken, apple trees...Caring for animals, hoeing soil, milking goats, making cheese... and more! Come with us to taste the farmer life.We are going to visit the farm “In the Yard”.It is situated in a beautiful piece of land in the Olomouc region (Central Moravia). People living there have left the city and are gradually returning to the life in the countryside.Let us find things with them quietly waiting for us to be reappeared... Plant a tree. Bake bread. Make cheese. Grow vegetables. Cut a bowl. Make a clay pot. Come to volunteer!

Castle Adventure V. Burning Witches 28. 4.- 1.5. 2012 This is a weekend adventure in Hartenberg, an awesome half-ruined castle in the Ore Mountains. Having 4 great full days, we are going to explore Karlovy Vary, the Hollywood stars town, and pure countryside, taste yummy Czech food and experience strong enthusiasm while giving a hand to prepare a popular cultural event for local children. Being a volunteer brings a lot of fun with minimum payments, you must cover only your travelling, as food and accommodation are provided for free. Wizzards and witches welcome, your sleeping bag is necessary.
European Lessons (whole semester) I.- 28.3. 9-12 AM
Cross-cultural foreign lessons for children and teenagers run by exchange students. The main idea is to show young czech pupils how important and adventurous learning of languages is, how it can anable them to travel abroad and experience real international life and friendship. You are the best pattern in this by taking exchange here in Brno, so tell them, what you like about it! Tell them your funny stories form your journeys or what is worth of trying in your country.If you are interested in visiting a school and learn about Czech education system, we will give you the chance to prepare a short slideshow and/or a debate and talk to students. In all types of schools in Brno. Will you join us and go to play with the little ones in a kindergarten or lead a discussion in a high school? :)

SocialErasmus Week 2012 ISC MU Brno in cooperation with ISC Mendelu and ISC VUT organize ERASMUS DAYS 2012 in order to celebrate 25th anniversary of program Erasmus in Europe. SocialErasmus Week is a part of the project. We proudly offer you many actions to enjoy 25 years of this amazing program, that helps students from Europe to learn about different cultures, educational systems, meet new people and much more. Come with us and show YOUR Erasmus spirit!
Europe Day (9th May 9 - 12 p.m., Brno city centre) – the multicultural slideshow morning full of talks, debates, games and intercultural learning. You have a unique opportunity to show Czech teenagers how nice is to travel abroad and study languages. You can make a lesson plan or just to talk to youngsters about your home and yourself, bring photos, pictures etc. English preferably. (other languages possible) We will be there with you and provide all necessary help.
Run to Spilberk hill- the way how to study abroad (9th May 1 p. m., Spilberk park) - this action game will try to show to high school students the „hard way“ from applying for an Erasmus programme to settling in a new home. In this game, there will be some spots, where students must fullfil tasks simulating stops of the way throughout the Erasmus procedure. Of course with fun! And how you can participate – come&help us to show the Erasmus spirit to young people.
Erasmus and Kids Got Talent (9th May 5 p.m., Culture Centrum Stadion) - the „big“ show, where you can show your talent in art, music, theatre performance, dance, singing etc. Elementary school children will also participate in this competition. If you have not only Erasmus, but as well social spirit, you can help with preparation of these children for the performance during the semester (approximately once per 2 weeks afternoons in March and April). Afterwards your will receive extra diploma about participating in SocialErasmus project from ESN International. So if you are interested in, let us know as soon as possible.
