An old joke says:
Heaven is where the cooks are French, the police are British, the mechanics are German, the lovers are Italian and everything is organized by the Swiss.
Hell is where the cooks are British, the police are German, the mechanics are French, the lovers are Swiss, and everything is organized by the Italians.

(And, by the way, do you know what they say about Czechs? Nothing. Because nobody outside the Central Europe actually knows who Czechs are.)
Let’s break such national stereotypes and prejudices! And let’s do it in a funny, entertaining and interactive way in a friendly atmosphere with your new mates from all over the world!
Each Wednesday evening you’ll have an opportunity to get to know new countries with their cultures, the habits of their lovely people, perhaps their food or beverages. Besides, you’ll have a unique chance to prove that your country is the best and that it’s worth visiting (or moving to)!
The way you choose to present your country is totally up to you. The point is to show the others where you come from and make them feel like they’re a part of the presented country.
Why would you like to do that?
• Firstly, we are sure that you wanna amaze your friends with an interesting trivia that they can’t google or find in books.
• Secondly, we know that you are eager to get to know how they dine or dress up or party on other continents.
Having these in minds, we can guarantee you 90 minutes of fun, laughter and interesting stuff.
And since we are gonna be gathered at one time at one place, after the presentations we will continue to the famous music club 7.Nebe for an awesome, multicultural, thematic and crazy afterparty!
And the best thing – to motivate you to really pull this off, we prepared a prize for the group with the best country presentation! The best group will get a KEG OF BEER (for a quality beer pong game or just for making the pre-Christmas time in Brno even nicer).
So come to see the introduction and the presentation of the Czech Republic on February 20th!
And then, the first presentation day will be on February 27th (for more details check the schedule). You will be reminded several times, but please, countries supposed to present on this day, make sure that you’re gonna be ready.
Take your ESN card with you (not to pay an entrance fee at 7.Nebe club) and bring some friends (even without the ESN card they can participate in country presentations, just for a small entrance fee of 20 CZK).
ISC MU Brno is not responsible for the content of the presented videos, presentations or speeches done by the international students! Thanks for understanding.
Yours, Andrea (Coordinator of Country Presentations; presentations@isc.muni.cz)
